Sunday Mornings

St Barts, Newbury & The Well, Thatcham

St Bartholomew's school, Newbury

At our Sunday morning service at St Bart’s we begin with vibrant worship, followed by prayer and teaching from the Bible. Part way through the service children under 14 go out for age specific church in a fun, safe environment led by our fantastic DBS cleared and enthusiastic team.

After the service there’s time to get to know people, receive prayer or find out more about the church over a cup of tea or coffee. There’s also a welcome desk where you can connect with a Life Group or find out more about upcoming events.

The Well, Green Lane, Thatcham

Since August 2018, Glendale Church has taken responsibility for the former Thatcham Free Church, including the building on Green Lane. The building has been renamed The Well, where we are looking to develop lots of new activities during 2019, following some renovations in the winter and early Spring. If you’re excited about getting involved in something new in Thatcham, do get in touch with us!

Currently there is a small traditional service which takes place at The Well at 10.45 on Sunday mornings. Click here to see what’s coming up on Sundays and other events.

Sunday Evenings

Wash Common Community Centre, Wash Common

Our Sunday evening service is informal and the room is laid out in more of a café style. The service is a fantastic way to round off the weekend and prepare for the week ahead.

The evening starts and finishes with worship, and during the service there’s a coffee break followed by a talk and response time.  As the church grows, space and parking at this venue are getting more and more limited, so it’s a good idea to arrive a few minutes early.
