Our main service is on Sunday morning from 10:30am to noon at St Bart’s School. You’ll be assured of a warm reception from our Welcome Team, as well as the wider church community.
We usually begin with vibrant worship, followed by prayer and teaching from the Bible. During the talk, well-trained, DBS-cleared, caring Glendale regulars run a crèche and Junior Church. This ensures the children are safe, happy and get to know God more, while their parents/carers can relax and enjoy the service.
After the Sunday service, there’s always an opportunity to discuss joys and concerns, as well as receive prayer. You can also get to know people over a good cup of tea or coffee or find out more about us at our Welcome Desk.
Sometimes, we also have a social ‘bring and share’ lunch and enjoy this extended time together.
Our Sunday evening service is smaller and less formal but a fantastic way to round off the weekend and prepare for the week ahead.
We meet in the Wash Common Community Centre from 6:30pm to 8pm. We start and finish each service with a time of worship. The hall is set up in more of a relaxed café style, and we enjoy a period for refreshments before Bible teaching or hearing testimonies. Again, there is always the opportunity to give and receive prayer and support.
While it is great to return to our roots and worship on Glendale Avenue, we recognise that parking can be tight so it is wise to arrive a few minutes early.
